Maid Service and Chicago Maids: We can not give an exact cleaning estimate without knowing more about your home. However, we can tell you that our prices are less than our competitors for most homes that we clean. We also do not charge differently if we send a team or individual.

The estimate of rates for your home is based on the size, construction, etc. Some homes just clean easier and quicker than others and some are more difficult. We do not charge by the hour, as many other services do and our people are not paid by the hour. All charges are based on the house. You will not have to worry that cleaners will come in to your home and swish a duster around for 5 hours and charge double for a job that could have been done in 2.5 hours.

You will be on a schedule and the cleaners will arrive at around the same time for each house cleaning. We won't show up on Monday when you're scheduled for Wednesday, stand at your front door and try to convince you that cleaning today would be more convenient for "us". MAXI MAIDS does not clean one-time, move-in or move-out cleanings. We efficiently schedule weekly or biweekly home cleanings only!

Every team has at least one person who speaks fluent English. The management of this company is English speaking only so each team must be able to also communicate with us.

The people cleaning your home will be experienced professionals. We will clean your home as you expect it to be cleaned. If you are not satisfied with our cleaning, call us within 24 hours and we will return and re-clean the problem area.

As a final note . . .
We have not had good success with scheduling cleaning service or cancellations by EMAIL. As a result, we only schedule service, changes to the cleaning schedule or cancellations by telephone. If you are scheduled for service and need to cancel, we suggest that you give at least 2 days notice. If you do not, it may become necessary to charge you anyway, and this includes "Lockouts". Notification allows us to attempt to reschedule another house in the empty slot. The cleaning people are only paid, by you, when they work and for most, this is their only income. The fee for lockouts or late cancellations is $30.00.

Our staff is available to clean your home during the day, Monday thru Friday. Evenings and Saturdays may be subject to an additional charge.

Often a new customer will call and request a Friday or Saturday. We can't always guarantee that we will have availability late in the week in the area where you live. Often we will start a customer on a day other than their preferred day, put them on a short waiting list and work hard to get them to their preferred day.

Cleaning services that always have availability late in the week, just don't have much business or they will provide a cleaner that is hired just for that day to clean your home. We do not use either temporary or part-time help. If a cleaning service does not have late week business, we have to question the quality of their work product and their reputation.

We always request that you give us as much lead time as possible to get you on our schedule and suggest flexibility in your schedule requirements.
